FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I’ve just booked my stay at Jamaica Royale Unit #52! Where do I go to check-in/check-out?

    • Check-in time is after 4:00 P.M. Jamaica Royale works diligently to accommodate this time. Please stop at the rental office to pick up your keys and complete the check-in process.

    • Check-out time is 10:00 A.M. on the date of departure. Please return your keys to the rental office upon departure.

  • What if I arrive or depart after rental office hours?

    • Please notify the rental office to arrange pick-up of keys if you plan to check-in after office hours.

    • If you are planning to leave before the office opens on your departure date, please notify the office (you can send a quick email with your unit #, departure date, and time you are departing to Arielle@jamaicaroyale.com) and drop your keys in the drop box located outside the front office door. 

    • Please note, office hours are Monday – Saturday 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. (EST) and Sunday 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. (EST). The phone number is (941) 349-1800 or toll free (888) 981-1800.

 

  • What if I need late check-out?

    • In most cases, another party will be checking in at 4:00 P.M. on your departure date, so a 10:00 A.M. check-out time is very much appreciated.If late check-out is needed, please contact the rental office in advance to schedule (unfortunately late check-outs are not possible during peak season).

    • Please note, fees do apply for late check-out.

  • What are the condo procedures upon check-out?

    • Simply run your dishwasher, take your trash out, put towels in a pile in the bathroom, and leave the bed as is! You will receive a welcome packet upon check-in with all these instructions.

  • I rented a car; what is the parking like at Jamaica Royale?

    • We have one dedicated parking spot for Unit #52 steps away from the back door. This covered carport is very convenient for loading or unloading luggage and groceries.

  • What other types of transportation are available in Siesta Key?

    • You can access Uber and Lyft 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Siesta Key, depending on the availability of drivers in your area at the time of your request.

    • Siesta Key also offers a FREE trolley! The trolley runs from Siesta Village all the way to Turtle Beach Park. Dedicated trolley stops are located at Siesta Village, Siesta Beach, and Turtle Beach Park. The trolley service runs about every 20 to 30 minutes from 8am to midnight!

    • There are also several companies that offer free “tip-only” rides on Siesta Key.Most offer free transportation around Siesta Key with a service that connects Siesta Key Village at the north end of the island to Turtle Beach in the south end.

  • What items should we bring to our Beach Condo Vacation?

    • Condo rentals offer many amenities that hotels do not, but there are some things that you will need to remember to pack.   Let’s first start with some amenities we DO offer:

      • Fully equipped kitchen perfect for cooking meals!

      • Coffee makers- both drip and Keurig (with starter K-cups).

      • In-unit stacked washer/dryer (laundry pods available for your use!)

      • Free WiFi / Internet access.

      • Beach chairs, two coolers and several ice packs provided for your use at the (3) community pools or beach!

      • Linens (towels and sheets) provided, extra pillows, and twin-size air mattress.

      • Hair dryer

      • Starter pack of basic supplies including toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

    • Some items we suggest you remember to pack (or purchase upon arrival):

      • Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.

      • Phone, camera, and laptop chargers (we do have a Blue Tooth clock radio in the bedroom with a USB port for charging)

      • Since we offer only a small starter pack, you will most likely have to purchase extra paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, etc.You will probably need additional garbage bags as well (depending on the length of your stay)

      • Coffee filters if you prefer to use the drip coffee maker.

      • You may need some basic seasonings (salt, pepper, spices) depending on how much cooking you plan on doing!

    • There are plenty of stores nearby that should have everything you need. There is a Publix Super Market only about 1.6 miles from Jamaica Royale.

    • Packing for a condo rental vacation is much like packing for a hotel stay; you’ll need your personal items like clothes and toiletries, but remembering to bring or purchase a few extra items can make your stay more enjoyable!   • Is there a place to store my valuables while I’m at the pool or beach?

    • Yes!  Unit #52 has a safe to store your valuables. You will find instructions located inside the safe.

  • What are some places near Siesta Key we can visit?

    • Jamaica Royale is only about 1 mile from Siesta Key Village! Siesta Key Village is in the heart of Siesta Key. The Village is a quaint island strip with designer shopping and local dining!

    • Downtown Sarasota is only about a 15 minute drive from Jamaica Royale! The city is a scene of eateries, theaters and shopping boutiques.

    • St. Armands Circle is about a 23 minute drive from Jamaica Royale. St. Armands Circle is known for specialty shops, boutiques, galleries, and wonderful restaurants. It seems like there’s always a special event going on at St. Armands, so please be sure to do a little research before your visit to see what might be happening!

    • Venice is another one of our favorites! Only about a 27 minute drive from Jamaica Royale, the island town’s charming Main Street offers plenty of shopping and dining. Venice offers 14 miles of beaches from Casey Key to Manasota Key with plenty of swimming, fishing, and boating opportunities!

  • What are some events or activities happening while I’m there?
